most of the time they're just abstract with no hidden meanings. if i see something starting to develop within the drawing sometimes i'll bring it out to make it more obvious. i dont spend alot of time planning anything. its just all freehand abstractiness.
what............and you dont see the bag of weed !!!! guess i'll have to try harder the next time. i shall come pay you a proper visit it looks like you have a pretty cool gallery my friend im glad you enjoyed my drawing too, thanks
that would be a pretty neat feeling--to have something that you made with your ideas and your hands and eyes that someone liked so much they wanted it on their body permanently. it's not quite as impressive, but i feel that way about the jewelry i make and sell. i love knowing that the things i made are hanging on someone's neck or wrist or ears. that is my favorite part of jewelry making. it's so personal. and i do a lot of custom pieces which is very rewarding.
you have some really beautiful jewelry pieces in your gallery.. When i first came across your photos i said ' wow , cool tatts and a sweet necklace to go with the piercings. That got me checking out your gallery and i really liked it. Im looking forward to seeing your new postings
oh thank you so very much! i love making jewelry. it's fantastic for therapy--having something to do with one's hands and and something that requires a lot of concentration, it transports me from any issues that are bothering me or calms my mind. really, creating anything does that for me. that's great that you enjoy the gallery, there's a little bit of everything in that.
i'd love to have you critique anything that you feel like talking about. i know i have a lot to learn! i've only been here for a bit over a week and i've posted most of decades of work. i've put up a lot of what i've done, but there is much more literature, photography, and jewelry that i need to post. plus i create things regularly, so there will be a lot to look at, i expect. enjoy!!!
drawing is what calms me down. you have to be doing something creative or the mind just goes haywire. i enjoy the new pieces you posted, i will take a longer look when i get some more free time. i thank you kindly for including me in your feature. a very nice thing to do
yes, creating in any medium is more effective than my tranquilizers. i think it's the way i can get soooo into it, especially with drawings when one uses (or at least i do) a lot of detail. my paintings really aren't very detailed. if i'm not creating, i have more trouble with anxiety. it's a stress reliever. plus, when you are working on something you're really happy with the way it's going it gives you a lovely feeling.
i liked it tons, so i wanted to feature it! you're very welcome!
the collab piece you mentioned in your journal sounds very interesting and very fun. You must take some photos so we can watch your progress i never did a collab until i got on DA now ive done a bunch of them with friends from all over the world. Its fantastic i totally agree with your thoughts on stress reduction. With the hands of a surgeon ink flows from our finely detailed thoughts !!
thanks my friend imglad you like it ! i just hit a 1000 page view on my other site and have been putting up some nice pieces over there too. the "thank you" drawing was made for folks just like you who have stuck with me for such a long time. i really appreciate all your comments and faves . thanks so much
dude! i have gawped at this for ages. you are a dang-tootin genious. how you create such amazing symmetry is jaw-dropping! to prove to myself it wasnt just one half duplicated and flipped i had to look for slight imperfections. i am so glad to say when i found some very minor points it proved even further that you are a legend!!!!i hope this rambling has come accross as the complement i am trying to give. XD
a fine compliment indeed and i take it as such ! i do prefer the freehand approach but i get caught up in the moment and attempt something symmetrical on occasion. this drawing has plenty of imperfections but i dont think they are too distracting i actually drew this flipped over the other way but it looks better this direction . i was attempting a phoenix type bird drawing but got totally lost along the way
you probably noticed i dont attempt them very often im much more in my element just going at it freehand ! thats what i really enjoy about your work too. the flow you get with your drawings are simply beautiful
